Michael is widely recognized as a skilled performer in Jazz, Classical and Rock music. He is proficient on the upright bass, guitar, and cello. He has performed with many island groups and  released several CD’s.

Michael taught music in the Vineyard Public Schools for more than 30 years in which he held the position of instrumental music teacher, teaching concert band, string orchestra, jazz band, class guitar, and sound technology. He now runs a small, selective private studio where he teaches bass, cello, and guitar.
